Black Bamboo Paper Plate Holders

its failures

If it were up to me, I prohibit the sale of any product for weight loss.
Personally, I am even against Weight Watchers and Minçavi of this world.
Why?
Because it's not a lifestyle that can be integrated for rest of our days and that the concept of Weight Watchers points place too much emphasis on calories rather than on the nutritional quality of food. I believe more in tune signals satiety. I eat when I'm hungry and I stop when I'm hungry.

Natural health products for weight loss: Warning!
But the products are worse for me.
They put the solution to excess weight, real or imagined, outside the person. Medical solution as very, very present you tell me. That's true.
But what really bothers me is that this industry, selling its products is used to make us believe anything.
Lose weight effortlessly, while sleeping, without changing anything, eating whatever you want, quickly ... Sometimes up to 30 pounds per month.

Complain!
Try to complain, you will give me some news! The process is tedious and not obvious. Health Canada is proceeding with a mandate to approve the natural health products. Few products on sale in our pharmacies have been approved by Health Canada and find themselves still on our shelves. You do not believe me?

Go to your pharmacy and see for yourself!
Usually, there is a section dedicated to products for weight loss. To determine if the product is authorized, see if there are a number of natural product identified by the letters NPN preceding the number. Only 9 products for weight loss have been approved by Health Canada. They are found in the database on natural health products available to all on their site . However, there are over nine products to lose weight on the shelves of my pharmacy!
I think I'm repeating myself but I like this sentence Lyne Mongeau : "The weight loss industry is the only industry to experience its failures ".
I sincerely invite you to complain about whether an advertisement that seems misleading or because an unlicensed product is found on the shelves of your pharmacy. The more we are to complain more the actions take place. I want a bill like Spain prohibits any advertising of weight loss and cosmetic surgery for primetime.
Good long weekend full of sunshine!

Kate Playground Strawberry Bikini

Tightrope

At what point does one become too préoccuppé by our weight or our physical appearance? The line seems so thin between I do for my health, my well-being and I'm a little obsessed (sometimes a lot) and it affects my well-being ...

image or health?

kitchen is a discussion I have with several friends. We realize we're all pretty CONCERNED by our weight and regardless of the latter. I, for example, I'm climbing a fairly intense that allows me to have a weight in which I am well. Note the use of " which allows me . So I associate my weight to my practice climbing. Is this healthy? Maybe. At least I have what is known today: healthy lifestyle ! Continue ... when I hurt my knee last year, then I panicked! More climbing for 2 months! That's it, obesity watching me ... It's always healthy? I doubt it ...

We have several like that dott behavioral reassuring like a obsessive-compulsive would, but when something unexpected happens, watch out, what is our reaction! Do not get me wrong, I love climbing and I do not climb to maintain my weight. It's more like a secondary benefit, but still an important secondary benefit. A majority

too préoccuppée

Basically, I questioned as to whether there is not any concern a little excessive. And if so, why? Personally, I dream of the day when I will make things just for fun without me préoccupper impact on my weight and my physical appearance. I will also soon face because I want to challenge the heads shaved Leucan. I sincerely hope that this experience allows me to cross one step closer to freedom.

Creativity, at what price? New mothers

I heard from the French bill on photo retouching. I mentioned in my post titled: A picture is worth a thousand words . I contacted the member Valerie Boyer to know what the next steps in this bill.

First, a symbolic gesture
What must be understood first and foremost is that it is primarily a symbolic gesture seeking to raise awareness about the issue of body image . France has adopted a charter on body image, similar to ours. In fact, this movement is born in Europe.
This member wanted to go further, hence the idea of the bill. In fact, the Charter educates the world of fashion and media. The bill would ensure that concrete action would have arisen. Advertising on any photo or mode having been bodily alterations, we would find the statement: "This photo was retouched. I think there is even talk of them indicate the number of edits being made. Software written in France can analyze images and identify all alterations and equipment.

Brime Does it creativity?
This bill has led to a lifting shields. Many see it as an attack on creativity. I was talking to my mother this morning and I liked his analogy. She saw a parallel with infomercials. You know those commercials that tell stories, for example, excess weight while gently bringing us to a product that would allow us to solve this problem easily. The creators of these infomercials have an obligation to indicate what it is. In the same vein, it is not to prevent photo retouching, but rather to inform the public that this photo was retouched in the body of the dummy.

Is it difficult to sell the dream?
We are many and numerous, opposite a photo of fashion, to forget that this is not the reflection of reality, but rather an unattainable ideal. The model was probably already beautiful, but it makes it iconic. Is it wrong? By itself, no. What is wrong, it is the damage that these images are at the self-esteem and sometimes worse. The fashion magazines are best to ensure that their audience forget that this is not a reflection of reality. Designers and advertisers too. Their products sell well. But I think these products would sell just as well even if the reader knew that the photograph had been retouched, perhaps even better. The difference between us seem smaller than our image and illustrated. We would have more confidence in buying the clothing worn by the model or makeup, we could be like him. I launch the idea.

Personally, I would love to make me remember that these are edited pictures. You can imagine, although I work in this area, before I forget those beautiful women he's just a dream illustrated ...

Middle Back Pain More Condition_symptoms

influenced

younger, when I was really CONCERNED by my weight, I imagined my future pregnancies as moments of respite, periods where I would be relieved of this pressure that I forced myself to have a perfect body. Unfortunately, today, even the moms are covered by cover of magazines and are thus the pressure to regain their pre-pregnancy size and quickly!

The super mom!
On March 27, the Quebec Week magazine showed us a nice picture of Jacynthe Rene, who has regained his waist, five months after his birth. She will book generously, its slimming tips! She is still nursing incidentally. I could be wrong, but it seems that the period of breastfeeding is not ideal IMAGE_BUTTON_SUBMIT_LINK to a slimming diet. But it's more than that at the bottom. My concern about this phenomenon is not only the health of mothers, but their well-being and that of all women at the bottom. Personally, I do not want a super mum, slim, athletic, working, leisure and has found the time of taking care of her children. It'sa lot of pressure for the little girl who grows up to have a model of perfection

An inter generational problem
other hand, I've always said that age, my concerns for my image would yield the way to other concerns, connected to something more .... Essential? But it seems not. The phenomenon is found among women of 10, 15, 20, 40, 65 ... It seems like a lot of energy invested in changing itself and too little self-discovery. There is one body and no one likes people for what they air, but for what they are and want to be all alike, we finally get there. What is not good news.

I do not want to wait to be sick to finally realize that I spent my life m'occupper trivia. When sick, the body is sick, but if you know her well being, we can So feel safe despite the disease ... But it's just my opinion ...
I wish the new moms to love this new body because he gave life to treat him with respect and cherish it. I hope I'll do the same when I am Mom.

Hair & Make Up By Jenna

Beauty botoxée

past few weeks, we hear a lot about Botox and other cosmetic surgeries. It seems the United States, filmmakers are turning increasingly to European actresses because American actresses are so used to plastic surgery, they have trouble displaying emotions. Their face is now like a mask. A beautiful mask, I admit, but a mask. Frozen.

Fountain of Youth
Botox is now the fountain of youth for many women, not just actresses. According to an article in La Presse yesterday morning, many Quebec drink from the fountain of youth. Of Quebec as well, incidentally. In the same book, we could also read a wonderful interview with Claire Lamarche Nathalie Petrowski and this time they were presenting the antithesis of the woman botoxée. And seriously, I could not help but find it beautiful and so much more interesting, I who few minutes earlier, told my boyfriend that I could not swear on all the saints that I would not use one day.

Beauty is what the bottom?
It seems we spend much of our lives to worry about what we look like and find the most lousy time to finally find that we were not so bad at all once the time and say we should enjoy it. I often surprise inside to think that if I was thinner and better dressed, I'd be happier. But happiness has nothing to do there, I know today and everyday events I may remember. Yet I still believe qu'habillée or otherwise if I had more beautiful hair, I'd be more fulfilled. In those moments, I try to ask who are the women that I find beautiful in my life, not actresses, real women I meet. None are similar, they are not all thin and have curly hair sometimes, sometimes white and sometimes short, anything that does not match the picture I would like to send me back into the ice. So, beauty is full of things that do not see but feel, that emerge and illuminate us.

To finish off the botox!
If you want to use it, ask before you choose your doctor! But personally, finally, I do not use them someday. I will try to capitalize on the adage that we seem to age in our hearts and therefore try to keep a child's heart!

Wedding Messages Funny

Sex sells? Correction: the image of what a woman wants to look like selling!

I've always said: all women, round, thin, thin, all are concerned about their size! I met several men who told me: Come on, it's just that the big upside-down! The other is to get attention, to be told they are beautiful! Thank you to Allen and his staff because their study has just given me reason

Context
United States (again, by the way!), Over 50% of the population is overweight. No wonder all reviews for women on their front page promising a quick weight loss and dramatic! The researchers wanted to study in question tested this assumption: is this vendor given the context of obesity or simply because all women want to be thinner? They had a magnetic resonance imaging in women with no eating disorder (verified using validated questionnaires) and women suffering from bulimia.

Results
They all showed images of sexy women and thin and they were asked to imagine they were told it looked like these women. The brain of all participants reacted similarly.

Then they were presented with images of women with overweight and all had a reaction to the prefrontal cortex. Any doubt of their value as a person and questioned.

the men's side: nada! They do not care that they have completely thin men sexy or hairy and paunchy!

Social Context??
The authors are wondering if a social or biological factor. For this, it would replicate the same study, but in a completely opposite, that is to say where the pressure associated with physical appearance would be on men. anyone know such a place?

meantime, what we understand is that the magazines for women earn selling fad diets and put sexy women in bikinis and men's magazines are also gaining in putting women sexy bikini!

But still, it shows the importance of not only address the obesity problem facing our countries, but also to work on promoting a healthy body image and diverse (the Charter thank you!)

Aortic Aneurysm More Condition_symptoms

A picture is worth a thousand words

The photo retouching, I come back today! I'm not the first to talk about and certainly not the last either.

A French member, Valerie Boyer , had submitted a bill about it. It does not seem to have been on, but the question remains: Are photo retouching partially responsible for our excessive concern with respect to the weight of our obsession with thinness and our desire for perfection?

I have no answer to this question, but I must say that seeing pictures of Britney Spears before and after alterations made me a very foolish! Not so much in weight at the level of perfection of the color of his skin. Ok, its curves too! I'm really thinking that basically, it was like all of us, but it had better make up and foundation as mine!

I think the photos, like the choice of model are part of the problem and, therefore, that such legislation is in itself a good idea. However, these choices represent some of our social values: appearance, perfection, extreme thinness ... Maybe not to retouch photos allow a gradual change in values, who knows?

So I have no answer in this Saturday morning, just thinking. I wish in conclusion to emphasize the initiative of Elle Quebec with her makeup-free number (see photo of Caroline Dhavernas from the site of Elle Quebec)! The photos are beautiful! I participated in the Day without makeup and I must admit that it was not easy to live without mascara! But the time it gives for lunch! Wow!

Running Shirts With Funny Sayings

Watch your clothes!

This morning, I told myself that I would write today about photo retouching. If no photo was retouched fashion, would we be better in our skin? But a new I just learned about twitter via @ JocelyneRobert, throws me down! An Australian 23-year-old was acquitted of rape because the victim wore skinny jeans .....

That such aberrations occur, remind me how equality between men and women is still not won. Personally, I see a link between this trial, body image and media.

Hypersexualization fashion
I say and repeat, I'm not puritanical. Yet every day I am shocked by images of fashion in my present visual environment. Right now, two specific advertising irritate me in particular: Guess and Buffalo .
To see these women played a female roles available and subjected to heat ... and around the city ... We start by far. At one time, it was daring to show the legs of a woman and now ... Have we gone too far? I think so.

And it has a particular vision of women in the collective consciousness. A woman's first sexual subject to man's desire and take pleasure to its position of submission.
I have absolutely nothing against sexy and daring fashion. Nothing against the idea that a woman wants to be at its best and show its advantages. That attitude bothers me. The fine line between femininity and assumed his seductive power versus the hyper woman's image that power is no longer in the hands of the latter.

Sex and the City
For those who do not know me, I'm a big fan of Sex and the City. For me, this show was the first that gave women the right to enjoy and want to have sex for pleasure. They are sometimes vulnerable, but no one ever feels the subject. Yet, they are sexy and provocative, but never vulgar or trashy. For me, this is a woman's sexuality much healthier than that displayed throughout the streets of Montreal and made sure that I would protect the eyes of my nieces face these degrading images of women.

No justice
I return to the case mentioned in the intro to this post. How can a judge acquitted a man of rape because the victim was wearing skinny jeans? The skinny jeans are in vogue for some time and we have almost all, at least one pair in our closet. But in fact, the argument the judge was that he was the victim has withdrawn herself because her jeans are so tight. So, he completely ignored the fact that it can be done under the threat that her attacker may be strong enough to remove him or Apply more she may be wanted to batifoller with him without consent to be raped! Whatever type of clothing or the quantity of these on the body of a woman, it seems that nothing can justify a sexual act without consent.

This story is very worrying in terms of equality of men and women face justice. I console myself saying that this would never have happened Quebec ... at least I hope so ...
